The Group serves customers in more than 180 countries with products and services focused on productivity, energy efficiency, safety and ergonomics. In India, they manufacture and sell compressors, construction and demolition tools. The Atlas Copco Group is a world-leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions. Their products help engineering companies achieve sustainable productivity in a wide range of markets, including general engineering, manufacturing and process industries, oil and gas, construction, automotive, mining, and electronics.
Challenge
Working with a brand of this magnitude was a challenge in itself. Also, this brand has a very definite set of guidelines and all the artworks had to be created according to them. The space branding would serve not only the purpose of showcasing what the company does. These visuals will instil a sense of pride in the minds of the employees. When an employee is proud of where he/she works, the work efficiency automatically improves! This formed the basis of our design approach.
Solution
Crisp copy with good quality visuals was the only way out here. Also, it was of prime importance to ensure that the line should be powerful and yet simple enough to be understood by even the blue collar employees. Therefore, the artworks had to be visually very strong and stimulating. We used different design approach for every task but keeping in mind the target audiences and most importantly, the brand guidelines.
